Welcome to Heads Together Therapy
I support adults living with chronic illness, , late ADHD diagnosis, burnout, masking, identity loss, loneliness, and emotional overwhelm through online, person‑centred counselling grounded in lived experience.
Who I help
I offer online, person-centred counselling for adults across the UK who feel overwhelmed, lonely, misunderstood, or unsure where to turn.
Many people who come to me are living with long‑term chronic illness or adjusting to a late ADHD diagnosis, and want a calm, supportive space to talk openly, feel seen, supported, and begin to make sense of what they’re carrying.
Services
You can explore the three main ways I support adults below:
Counselling for late ADHD Diagnosis
Space to explore masking, burnout & self‑understanding
Counselling for Chronic Illness
Support for identity loss, health anxiety & emotional overwhelm
Person‑Centred Counselling for Adults
A calm, steady place to talk openly and feel heard
Counselling for Late ADHD Diagnosis
Space to explore masking, burnout & self‑understanding
Receiving an ADHD diagnosis later in life can bring relief, confusion, grief and a new understanding of the past. You may be making sense of years of masking, burnout, shame, or long held beliefs about yourself.
I offer a warm, non‑judgemental space where you can explore your diagnosis at your own pace, make sense of your story, and build a kinder, more accurate understanding of who you are.
My own lived experience of late diagnosis helps me support adults who feel overwhelmed or unsure where to begin, especially when they’re trying to rewrite long-held beliefs about themselves.
Counselling for Chronic Illness
Support for identity loss, health anxiety & emotional overwhelm
Living with a long‑term condition you feel overwhelming, lonely, and emotionally exhausting. Chronic illness often brings uncertainty, health anxiety, identity loss, and a quiet grief for the life you had before.
I offer a calm, steady space where you can talk openly, feel understood, and begin to reconnect with yourself.
My lived experience of multiple autoimmune conditions helps me offer grounded, compassionate support for people who feel unseen or misunderstood in their daily lives – especially when the emotional impact is overlooked elsewhere.
Counselling for Adults
Finding the right therapist
Finding the right therapist is an important step toward improving your mental well‑being. It matters that you feel comfortable, understood, and able to talk openly about what you’re carrying — especially if you’re living with chronic illness or adjusting to a late ADHD diagnosis.
I offer a complimentary initial phone consultation so you can ask questions, get a feel for how I work, and decide whether this feels like the right space for you. There is no pressure or expectation — just a chance to explore whether we’re a good fit.
